Edoardo Bruni

After classical studies, he graduated in piano with top marks from the Conservatories of Trento (Maddalena Giese) and Rotterdam (Aquiles Delle Vigne), later perfecting his skills with Arnaldo Cohen, Lazar Berman, Andras Schiff, Leonid Margarius. He graduated in philosophy from the University of Padua (Giovanni Boniolo) and obtained a PhD in musicology from the Universities of Trento and Paris 4 – Sorbonne (Rossana Dalmonte – Nicolas Méeus). He graduated in composition with top marks from the Conservatory of Trento (Armando Franceschini, Carlo Galante, Cosimo Colazzo), later perfecting his skills with Alexander Müllenbach, Azio Corghi, Luis Bacalov. He performs in Italy and Europe as a soloist and in chamber music groups: he has performed on prestigious programs that also included artists of the calibre of Yo Yo Ma, Canino, Pogorelich, Bollani, Campanella. His compositions have been performed in Italy and Europe in hundreds of concerts. He is invited as a member of juries of national and international piano and composition competitions. He taught at the Giudicarie Music School and at the conservatories of Verona, Padua, Trento, Siena, Frosinone, Riva del Garda, Darfo. He currently teaches score reading at the Vicenza Conservatory. He recorded for the French record company “Anima Records” and for the Italian record company “Tactus”. In 2023-2024 he made “The Goldberg Tour – 32 x 32” performing Johann Sebastian Bach’s Goldberg Variations in 32 concerts throughout Europe.

Ivo Crepaldi

Born in Bolzano, he began studying violin at the Bolzano Conservatory with Franco Turra. He subsequently continued his studies at the FA Bonporti Conservatory in Trento, graduating in 1999 under the guidance of Alberto Martini. After graduating,he perfected his violin skills with various renowned soloists and teachers: Eugene Sarbu, Maya Yokanovich, Stefano Pagliani, Giulio Franzetti and Giuliano Carmignola. He is a co-founder of the Ludus Quartet, with which he carries out an intense concert activity. With the quartet he perfected his skills at the Bolzano Conservatory with Andrea Repetto, Milan Skampa, Hugh McGuire and Andrea Nannoni. With Andrea Nannoni and especially with Piero Farulli he also had the opportunity to perfect his skills at the international music school in Fiesole (FI), attending, among other things, the European Quartet Academy. With the Ludus Quartet he won first prizes in various national and international competitions. The quartet’s activity includes, in addition to recording contemporary dedicated compositions, also the discovery of unpublished works from the Italian or German classical period. He collaborates with various orchestras including the Haydn Orchestra, I Pomeriggi Musicali of Milan, Toscanini of Parma, the Orchestra del MusicaRiva Festival of Riva del Garda and with string ensembles including the Accademia I Filarmonici of Verona, the Ensemble Zandonai of Trento, the Officina degli Affetti of Castelfranco Veneto and the Stringart Ensemble of Brunico. For years he has performed with pianist and composer Edoardo Bruni in numerous concert seasons in Italy and Europe. In addition to his concert activity, he also teaches at the German-language musical institutes in Merano, S. Leonardo in Passiria and Lana.
