ORGANIZING CHAOS

30 Sep 2023 - 07 Oct 2023

Organizing Chaos
from 30 September to 7 October 2023
Fondazione Luciana Matalon
opening 30 September 2023

The international collective exhibition “Organizing Chaos”, on initiative of Nartwork a.p.s., will take place from 30 September to 7 October 2023 at the Fondazione Luciana Matalon.

The group exhibition gives artists the space to express the chaos they have inside, a pure reflection of what is outside them and at the same time inside each viewer, they can mirror themselves in this irreducible nature to welcome and accept themselves as they are. Organizing does not mean simplifying or reducing, but finding similarities, connecting ends and mixing cores. Because Chaos must not be tamed, it must be given space, so that its vastness and beauty can be admired.

On display are the works of 37 of the artists from 13 countries who are part of the international network created by the Nartwork association, which was founded with the aim of creating a cultural network to enhance artists and promote contemporary art in all its forms and expressions. The Association now has more than 200 members from all over the world.
Each work on show is accompanied by a QR Code that collects the author’s thoughts and reflections.

At the vernissage, scheduled for Saturday 30 September at 5.30 p.m., there will be a brief discussion on the exhibition with the curators and the artists present. On this occasion, the official catalogue of the collective exhibition with contributions by art historians Maria Aurelia Catalano Rossi Danielli and Gianpasquale Greco will be distributed free of charge.

The initiative is part of the 19th edition of the Day of the Contemporary and has received the moral patronage of the Campania Region, the Lombardy Region, the Suor Orsola Benincasa University and the Alsob Association.

The collective exhibition will be open free of charge at the Fondazione Luciana Matalon, Foro Buonaparte, 67, Milan, from 30 September to 7 October at the following times: 10:00 – 13:00 | 14:00 – 19:00, closed Sundays and Mondays.
