ArchiTexturExpo
Matter and design
from April 20th to 26th, 2026
Luciana Matalon Foundation
On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, from 20 to 26 April, ArchiTexturExpo was born, in Foro Buonaparte 67 c/o Fondazione Matalon, the new exhibition format dedicated to the dialogue between subject, project and production, conceived by EN Space network in collaboration with VG crea – authors of the events of the last 10 years in the Piazza and Chiostri di San Marco in Brera during the Fuorisalone.
ArchiTexturExpo offers an exhibition that highlights the relationship between designers and companies’ production skills, describing the process that leads to the product, with particular attention to surface quality: texture, texture, color, and sensory rendering.
The exhibition invites the public to rediscover the value of design as a conscious process, capable of transforming materials into architectural elements and design products. Through scenographic installations the visitor can observe how matter becomes structure and design language. The event aims to be a platform for dialogue between companies, architects, and designers, offering a space for discussion on the project’s future prospects and the role of materials in defining the relationship between people, objects, and space.
There are:
- BBB with a collection designed by Marco Piva
- Eterno Ivica with the installation “Climax” signed ATI Project
- Keradom with “Color Plots” by Plan Studio
- Modesign with the Kitchen “Wood Blocks” by Lorenzo Guzzini
- New Life, with the project “The Depth of Making” with collections designed by Marco Zito, Alessandro Ghiringhelli, Alan De La Coba
- NINIVE design for the theme “Matter and Biophilia”
Also on display are products from Porcelanosa · Radici Carpet · Spolert.
And again, ArchiTexturExpo 2026 hosts international designers to imagine the hospitality of the future on the theme Body Interaction Luxury Suite curated by Sabina Antonini and Alessandra Coppa.
The focus explores the relationship between the human body, space, and matter, where surfaces, materials, and technologies become tools of sensory communication.
Six project entities are called upon to interpret a luxury tourist accommodation suite in which each material is not just an aesthetic element, but part of a tactile and perceptual experience, capable of bringing the human body into dialogue with space.
The protagonists of Body Interaction Luxury Suite:
- Facchinetti&Partners/Prototypes
VI SENSE OF PERSEUS – Well-being of the person through his sense - Giuseppe Tortato Architects
THE RICE ROOM - MMA Projects
RESONANCE - Nick Maltese Studio with Nerosicilia
AETHERA - Riva Simone Factory Design Studio
ESSENTIA – The body sanctuary - Westway Architects
INNER WALLS – Feeling, living and using space
Matter and Focus “Body Interaction Luxury Suite” become the topic of EN Space Interviews, interviews, and meetings with architects and designers on the role of the Project in shaping and redefining the relationships between people, objects, and space, which will be immediately visible on EN Space Network’s social media channels. With the collaboration of Terminus Digital Art.
Furthermore, the media partners, guests of ArchiTexturExpo, will be the protagonists of talks related to the theme of the event, Matter and Design.
ArchiTexturExpo also extends outdoors with a 24 sq m installation: an urban greenery module designed as a replicable model, particularly next to existing newsstands. The project aims to redevelop small public spaces by introducing cultural and rest functions, promoting reading, encounters, and a new centrality of the newsstand as an urban garrison. The space fosters sociality and short breaks, shaping up as a small green lung accessible within the city fabric.
