The Aura Trio was formed in 2006 when Simona Foglietta, Maria Antonietta Gramegna and Anna Rosaria Valanzuolo, musicians already active as soloists and eager to venture into the fascinating world of chamber music, came together. Chamber music is a small world, close to the heart, a cosy little world imbued with feelings so intense and profound that they captivate the listener. a place for intimate expression, as the ensemble’s name suggests.

In this space, the three women move in perfect balance between reason and feeling, mixing rigour and instinct, sobriety and passion, thus giving life to performances that are always appreciated for their effective communication with the audience and their great emotional involvement.

The trio boasts a solid background gained through studying with masters such as B. Canino, L. Cerroni, R. Aldulescu, C. Teodoro, B. Mezzena, P. Masi, K. Bogino, the Trio di Parma, the Trio di Trieste and the Ars Trio di Roma.

Curious and eclectic, the three musicians perform a very wide and varied repertoire ranging from Haydn and Mozart to contemporary composers, boasting numerous world premieres and compositions dedicated specifically to them.

The Aura Trio has distinguished itself in important national and international competitions (solo and chamber music) and has performed numerous concerts in Italy and abroad, always with great success at important festivals and for important musical institutions and associations: “Montalto Musica” (Montalto Ligure – IM), Sappada Chamber Music Festival (BL), ‘I concerti della domenica’ (Ostia – RM), ‘Cantiere Musica’ (Anguillara Sabazia and Bracciano – RM), Concerts at Cocumella (Sant’Agnello – NA), “Invito alla Musica” by the Arvamus Academy in Rome, “Progetto Musicale della Saccisica” in Piove di Sacco (PD), A.GI.MUS. in Lucera (FG), Seventh Degree Association of the University of Salerno, “I Concerti Itineranti” of the Igor Stravinsky Association of Avellino, A.GI.MUS. of Foggia, Municipality of Trevignano Romano (RM), “F.
